Cosmos 2014

Over 33 years after the original Cosmos TV series was released, National Geographic are remaking this brilliant TV series and have modernised it with the latest information that we know. While the old series is clearly dated, it is brilliant and still worth watching for the late Carl Sagan, a man who I have the deepest and utmost respect for. Carl Sagan explained things in such a touching and eloquent manner, that few could possibly match. The new series is presented by Neil deGrasse Tyson, I am so looking forward to seeing it.

I will not miss this. Just up my line. Of course everyone knows that one way or another this earth will end. Ask any of the smartest people on the planet. Carl and Clarke were very influencial in my childhood. Guys, not just years but, centuries ahead of their time. I hope this series is all I hope. Sorry so disjointed.

I have seen the entire new series and it was fantastic. I went into it with a bit of hesitation as I am a big Carl Sagan fan. However I think that they did a really good job of paying tribute to Carl Sagan and I was particularly touched by the link between Carl Sagan and Neil Degrasse Tyson leaving me in no doubt that he was the perfect person to present the new series.
