Happy New Year 2012

I would like to wish everyone a Happy 2012, may it be filled with peace. I think it has already begun with a good start, with the war in Iraq coming to an end, and also a commitment that the war in Afghanistan would come to a close.

On a personal note, I am more committed to World Peace than ever, what spare time I have, I am using to write a book on the subject which has been a goal of mine for many years.  Hopefully 2012 will be the year that sees me completing it. I should mention, that like this website, it is purely non profit.

I also look forward to receiving more emails, I try and respond to most of them.

    Thank you for your efforts.

I’ve been a peacenik since I was fifteen, forty-two years now, and I have seen many people try to bring everyone together. I won’t ever give up.

Some people say that I am too sensitive or that my personal mission to bring about world peace is a waste of energy and time.

I’m truly happy to see that I am not alone.

I worry so much about this world and all of the problems it faces. I try my best to treat people kind because I know that so many people are so stressed out. I have even been painting peace signs on rocks that I find at the beach and I hand them to perfect strangers. I just hope that it brings comfort to someone. You never know what someone is going through just by looking at them. There have been so many prophets like Jesus, Gaundi, Martin Luther King, Buddha, and so many more. We would be verry wise to hear them and walk their path of brotherly love.

      Hi Christine,
That is a really nice and sweet thing to do. I agree, people get angry or make judgements and they never know what a person is going through in life, and often judge a person by their looks and never get to know the kindness and warmth within. I have read some of the writings by Gandhi, including his biography, I think there is much to learn from them. Though I am not worried about the problems this world faces, worrying never achieves anything and I am optimistic about what lays ahead.

It’s nice to see other people as interested and committed to world peace as my organization! On March 31 2012, the KSU Peace Project at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw GA will attempt to break a world record for the largest human peace sign in order to raise awareness of peace related issues and bring back the spirit of activism to younger generations. Information can be found at ksupeace.com or ksupeaceblog.tumblr.com

    Peace!

That sounds awesome, good luck with the project, I would very much be interested in seeing some photos from the event.
The biggest human peace sign event I have seen photos of from on the internet was one from the Philippines which looked so amazing.
